I served 15 years on the Verona Area School Board including 8 years as president. Duringmy time on the board we undertook some of the most critical planning work that had been done in decades. This planning included financial planning that created a reserve fund plan and balanced budgets that allowed us to retire debt early saving tax payers millions of dollars in interest. This sound planning led to land purchases and a successful Referendum for a new high school and remodeling which passed by a wide margin.

During my time on the board cooperation between our two unions and administration was high. I sat on committees that negotiated innovative insurance and retirement plans which improved morale while still saving taxpayers millions of dollars. I have also spent 15 years on the IDAC committee which allowed me to serve side by side with municipal officials from all the local governments that comprise the VASD. This work gives me a solid grasp of development issues in our whole region.

I am a local business owner in the financial services field which has helped me with budgets, insurance and labor contracts.
